Hola from Madeline :-D

Hey again!

Tuesday night we went to the fair! It was dollar night so we got in for $4.00! (Elijah was free.) We went to a petting zoo there and we saw: A giraffe, some zebras, a camel, a Watusi, a Chinese “BearCat” some llamas, some goats and sheep, lemurs, parrots, a long haired cow, and a pony. It was very cool! My favorites were the giraffe, BearCat, and parrots. We had lots of fun watching people ride really scary rides and scream. 🙂

Wednesday morning we got up super early and went to Homosassa Springs! Granny and Pap came with us. On the boat ride I saw:

Some Ibises

A Red Shouldered Hawk

Some Great Blue Herons

A Swallow Tailed Kite

A Green Heron

A Cardinal

Some Wood Ducks

Two Barred Owls

An Osprey

Some Great Egrets

A Cormorant

A Wood Stork

In the zoo part there were lots of birds and animals native to FL. There was also a HIPPOPOTAMUS named Lu! The best things were the MANATEES!They look like cows with flippers and tails. We got to see so many different creatures! I hope we get to go back. I got a pinched penny with a manatee on it as a souvenir. I  On the way home we stopped by Fort Island County Park. It was on the gulf and we put our feet in the ocean and splashed around.

Wednesday night we went to the First Baptist Church of Lake Panasoffkee. There was 4-6th grade Bible study. They were doing the 10 commandments. After that, we played some games and then did some praise and worship. We had fun!

So All May Know,

Madeline S.
