I guess Elijah’s acclimating to school all right.
We had this conversation when we got home.
“Did you have a good day at school?”
“Yes! It was great– we played soccer,”
“Oh yeah?”
“Uh-huh. I tackled someone,”
“You… did? ‘Cause I think that’s football,”
“Oh, well, I didn’t like the kid I tackled much anyway,”
“Sure. But what did the teacher say?”
“She said it looked like I was having fun,”
